Template terms for a self-hosted instance of this fan site.

Template, not legal advice. These terms ship with the software and have not been reviewed by a lawyer or adapted to any jurisdiction. Whoever runs this instance must read them, fill in every highlighted placeholder, and take proper advice before running a public site. Until that happens, treat this page as unfinished.

1Unofficial fan content

Dieses Material ist inoffiziell und wird nicht von Supercell unterstützt. Weitere Informationen findest du in Supercells Fan-Content-Richtlinie. Fan-Content-Richtlinie

Brawl Stars is a trademark of Supercell Oy. This site is not operated by, affiliated with or approved by Supercell, and nothing on it should be read as an official statement about the game. Game data is retrieved from Supercell’s public developer API and from open third-party sources; the analysis built on top of it is the work of this site.

2What this service is

This site indexes publicly available Brawl Stars account and club data, archives what it sees, and presents statistics derived from it. Using it means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

The operator of this instance is [operator name and legal form], reachable at [contact address]. These terms take effect on [effective date].

3Accounts

An account is optional. It exists to store bookmarks and viewing history, to enable the advanced search options, and to post on the boards. Creating one requires only a username and a password — no email address is collected.

That has a consequence you should understand before registering: because there is no email address on file, there is no password reset and no account recovery. A forgotten password means a lost account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for everything done through your account.

You may delete your account at any time from the account page. What that does and does not remove is described in the Datenschutzerklärung.

4Acceptable use

  • Do not use the site to harass, threaten, impersonate or endanger anyone, and do not post other people’s private information.
  • Do not post content that is illegal where the operator is, or that breaks Supercell’s Fan Content Policy.
  • Do not attempt to break, overload or circumvent the site’s rate limits, scrape it in bulk, or use it as a proxy for the official API. The public API is free — request your own key.
  • Do not attempt to gain access to accounts, data or systems that are not yours.
  • [any further rules the operator wants to impose]

5Content you post

You keep ownership of what you post on the boards. By posting, you grant the operator of this instance permission to store and display it on the site for as long as the site runs.

Board posts are attributed to the username that created them. Deleting your account does not delete your posts: the account link is removed, but the post text and the author name recorded on the post remain visible. Delete posts you do not want to persist before deleting your account.

The operator may remove any post, close any thread, or suspend any account, with or without notice, and is not obliged to moderate proactively.

6Accuracy of the data

Numbers on this site come from two places and the difference matters. Values read straight from the official API are as accurate as the API is. Everything else — tier lists, win and pick rates, trends, name and club history, estimated play time, and anything labelled as an estimate in the interface — is computed here from a sample of the match population, and is not authoritative.

The sample is biased toward accounts that people have looked up on this instance. Treat the shape of a statistic as more reliable than its absolute magnitude, and read the Technik page before drawing conclusions from any figure here.

7Availability

The site is provided as-is and as-available, with no warranty of any kind. It depends on a third-party API that can rate-limit, change or withdraw access at any time, and it may be slow, incomplete, interrupted, or permanently shut down without notice. No uptime is promised and no data is guaranteed to survive.

8Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by [governing law], the operator is not liable for any loss arising from use of this site, including loss of data, loss of an account, or decisions taken on the basis of statistics shown here.

Operator: this clause is a placeholder. Liability limitations are only effective to the extent your jurisdiction allows, and consumer protection rules may override them entirely. Have this section written for your jurisdiction rather than shipping it as-is.

9Changes to these terms

These terms may change when the site changes. The current version is always the one on this page. Material changes should be announced on the Ankündigungen page — [operator: state how you will notify users, and from when changes apply].

10Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and any dispute is subject to [competent courts].

Questions about these terms go to [contact address].
