How sponsorship and advertising work on a self-hosted instance of this site.
This is a self-hosted site
There is no company behind this software and no central operator. It is an open codebase that anyone can run, so every instance is a separate site run by a different person or group, on their own hosting, with their own database and their own API token. Sponsorship arrangements, if any exist, are entirely between you and the operator of the instance you are looking at right now.
Nothing is shared between instances — not accounts, not bookmarks, not indexed players, and certainly not advertising. An enquiry sent to one operator has no effect on any other.
What it costs to run
Useful context if you are considering sponsoring an instance, or deciding whether to run one yourself:
- The official Brawl Stars API key itself is free to create, but it is bound to a fixed public IP address, which in practice means a server rather than a home connection.
- The site polls that API continuously to keep its index current, so bandwidth and CPU scale with how many accounts have been indexed, not only with how many people visit.
- Everything is stored in a single local SQLite file, so there is no managed database bill — but the battle archive grows with traffic until the prune pass trims it, and disk needs to be sized for that.
- Brawler, icon, badge and map art is served from an open third-party CDN rather than from the instance, so image traffic is not the operator’s cost.
What the codebase does and does not include
As shipped, this project contains no ad network integration, no tracking pixel, no analytics script and no sponsored placements of any kind. There is no ad slot to buy, because there are no ad slots. An operator who wants to run advertising has to add it themselves, and is responsible for everything that follows from that: disclosure, consent where it is required, and their own privacy policy, which would no longer match the template this project ships.
Any sponsorship or advertising on a Brawl Stars fan site also has to stay inside Supercell’s Fan Content Policy, which is linked in the footer of every page. Fan content must not suggest that Supercell endorses it, and must not be presented as official.

- A contact address you actually monitor, and a realistic reply time.
- What you are and are not willing to accept, and your rates if you have any.
- Anything you require from a sponsor: invoicing details, a contract, a disclosure line.
This project deliberately ships no contact address, no pricing and no organisation name, because inventing them would be worse than leaving the page obviously unfinished. Until an operator fills this in, treat this instance as not accepting sponsorship.
